About
I’m an Artificial Intelligence undergraduate at Minia National University (B.Sc. Computer Science & AI, 2023–2027) with hands-on experience in machine learning, data science and predictive analytics. I’ve interned with the Matsuo-Iwasawa Lab at The University of Tokyo, the Microsoft ML Engineer program under Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative, and the National Telecommunication Institute.
Experience
Data Scientist Intern
- Independently built an end-to-end telecom churn prediction solution with Python and XGBoost on 100,000+ customers and 254 features.
- Owned the full pipeline: cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, encoding, scaling, hyperparameter optimization and evaluation.
- Reached 87.77 Recall, 64 Precision and 0.698 ROC-AUC for proactive churn detection.
- Presented results to university professors in regular review sessions and applied their feedback.
Microsoft Machine Learning Engineer Trainee
- Completed an intensive Microsoft-sponsored program covering the full ML lifecycle through hands-on projects.
- Built regression, classification, clustering and predictive models with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Capstone: real-time anomaly detection for industrial IoT sensor streams.
